    General Racing Rules

    • R/C cars MUST NOT be driven in the car park, please keep to the race track or if permission is granted by race control the large camping field behind the track.
    • Drivers are expected to promptly marshal the race following their own. Failure to do so will result in a penalty! Stand-in marshals may be used but they MUST be a BRCA member and over 15 years old.
    • The reliability/accuracy of personal transponders is your responsibility. Race control however is flexible if missed laps can be substantiated.
    • All 1:8 scale cars (nitro and electric) must make a mandatory pit stop during the finals, to allow a level playing field.
    • The use of reverse is prohibited.
    • For safety reasons and in the interest of fairness drivers should avoid cutting sections of the track. If unavoidable they should stop to avoid gaining an advantage. They must not drive back the wrong way along the track!
    • Good racing etiquette is to yield position when being lapped; if you’re unsure the race timing system usually lets you know when a lapping car is approaching. If you cause a crash it is accepted practice to wait for the other car to be marshalled before continuing so as to not gain an advantage from the incident.
